1920s Art Deco Czech Sterling Insect Clip Brooch

1920s Art Deco gilded sterling figural fur clip brooch. The focal point of this stylized design of a winged insect is a fancy-cut sky-blue crystal in an elongated hexagonal shape for the “body”. The “head” is an intricately faceted round clear crystal, and between the wings on either side there are square cut ruby crystals. The workmanship on this critter is exquisite. The stones are vivid and sumptuous, the gold fill is remarkably unblemished. On the back, the swivel double-prongs are secure and efficient. A truly exceptional Deco work of art. 2.25″L x 2″w x 0.4″H.
