A George III satinwood and marquetry demilune folding card table, with a fold over top fitted with green baize. The top features a beautiful fan inlay and crossbanding around the outside, with the frieze incorporating purple heart crossbanding, over four elegantly tapering legs with floral painted decoration. The rear legs are hinged to swing out and support the folding top, with the mechanism working smoothly. In very good, sturdy overall condition, with some very minor signs of use to the top commensurate with age and use. Would work well as a side console table, or a centre hall table.
