Vintage Design
This intriguing ceramic is a production of Accolay potters. Its shape evokes a stylized animal, to form a cut in the silhouette stimulating the imagination. His particular enamel is typical of Accolay productions, a fawn brown with a speckled effect. Part of a particular shape, ceramics is a unique and dreamlike decoration.
The vase or zoomorphic cut is very beautiful, the enameling is nuanced, thick, mineral and shiny. The vase is in very good condition.

In the middle of the 20th century, Accolay was the setting for a real ceramic revolution. Four former students of Alexandre Kostanda settled in the small village of the Yonne in the mid -1940s, many potters will follow their example. For forty years, the production of Accolay potters will be impressive, original and daring.
