Antique mid 20th Century simple and elegant box with a multitude of uses, currently perfect for storing cigarettes or cigars but equally adept at storing jewellery or trinkets. The solid silver body is unsually finshed in all-over engine turning – a technique also known as jewelling which creates a fine geometric finish. inside the body is lined wih cedar wood, by far the best wood you can choose for cigar preservation, doing an excellent job at insulating temperatures and humidity. The central wooden slide is removable depending on use for cigars or cigarettes. This is a stunning all round box that looks great on the desk or the dressing table and perfectly complements the contemporary interior.
