Denmark, ca. 1950s. An early Model 18/57 table by Peter Hvidt and Oral Mølgaard-Nielsen for France & Daverkosen. Features solid teak construction with triangular beveled top supported by softly rounded legs. Clever folding design with subtle brass hinges allows for easy movement and storage when not in use. Would make an attractive side, coffee, or occasional table for entertaining. In excellent vintage condition, the teak retains a warm patina. Early France & Daverkosen medallion to underside.
