A 19th century Sevres hand-painted, cobalt & gilt porcelain ormolu mounted two-handle Centerpiece signed by French Artist A Chapuis. Intricate ormolu designs and decorations with acanthus leaves, flowers and other decoration.
Beautiful Large Antique French Sevres Porcelain and Gilt Bronze Centerpiece. Large Porcelain platter mounted in very ornate gilt bronze base on four feet with double handles and rim. Cobalt blue porcelain with floral and gold hand painted decoration and three young women and man in Victorian clothing at the center. Marked with underglaze Sevres mark on underside.
The Centerpiece appears to be in good condition, commensurate with age and use. The porcelain appears intact with no signs of repair under black light. The centerpiece is 22″ wide and 11.5″ in depth and 8.5″ in height.
