Vintage Design
Antique 20th Century British made solid silver pair of portable cigar boxes, made by one of the leading silversmiths of the day, Asprey & Co. The pair of boxes scream Art Deco, elegant and simplistic, very heavy gauge, with clean lines, rectangular hindged handles and richly gilt interior. I have to say we have never seen a pair like it before and are excited to be offering them for sale. Hallmarked English silver (925 standard), Birmingham, year 1936 (M), Maker A&Co (Asprey & Co).
