Contemporary Design
This project explores the connection between geometry and organicity.
Bryophyta is a series of vases made of steel, cashmere, merino wool and mohair. During the making process the wool, like a moss, slowly appropriates the cold surface of the object and a new texture emerges from a long handmade process.
The identity of the object is highlighted by colour and its own figure.
The contemporary character of each creation is emphasised by the reflective and bright surfaces, which are combined with natural colouring.
