Litho of Queen Louise of Prussia by Gustav Richter, it is a vintage Chromolithograph Print and it was first painted in 1879. Kцnigin Luise von PreuЯen – Gustav Richter, Queen Louise walking down the stairs of the palace to the gardens. This is a late 1800’s chromolitho in its original frame. Frame looks nice with the piece but does have some paint loss commensurate with its age. While this was out of frame to clean glass pictures taken of front and back of chromolithograph. Louise of Prussia (1776–1810) Duchess Louise of Mecklenburg-Strelitz was Queen of Prussia as the wife of King Frederick William III. The couple’s happy, though short-lived, marriage produced nine children, including the future monarchs Frederick William IV of Prussia and German Emperor Wilhelm. Name variations: Louise of Mecklenburg-Strelitz; Louisa, Luise von Preussen. Pronunciation: Lou-EE-za.
