Elegant Goldscheider Art Déco art ceramic figure from the 1930s: Dancer with chin-length brunette hair in light gray-blue long dance dress with abstract floral decoration, posing with her upper body turned slightly to the side and leaning backwards, holding up the hem of the dress with her right outstretched hand. On black, slightly curved oval base. Designed by Josef LORENZL (1892 – 1950), was an Austrian sculptor and ceramic modeler. His bronze statuettes often show graceful dancers with long legs and closed eyes. Lorenzl designed numerous ceramics for Friedrich Goldscheider and Keramos and was one of the most popular artists of Art Deco.
