Queen Elizabeth II Sterling Silver Drinks Decanter Bar and Goblets Suite from Asprey, 1983, Set of 7

Extremely rare and highly collectable, finest quality, HM Stamped, Asprey London solid Sterling Silver & Gold Gilt 1983 Decanter set complete with base and six goblets, by Appointment to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II This is without exaggeration the finest sterling silver suite I have ever seen. Made and retailed by Asprey London, the top of the case has the Royal Warrant stamped into the silk, the case includes a crystal decanter which has solid silver and gold gilt vine detailing, all pieces are fully hallmarked with the very rare HM for Her Majesty, the sideways facing Lion for Sterling Silver, the Panthers head for London made and the date letter J for 1983 The coaster for the decanters has the same hallmarks, the flowers and vines again being fully gold gilt, lastly the six goblets are an absolute tour de force of craftsmanship, the stems are all gold gilt vines, the insides fully gold gilt, this is a total ten The condition is sublime, they are nearly 40 years old so have a good original patina through out, they haven’t been over polished, the camera couldn’t really pick up on the gold gilding, it looks a hundred times better in real life Dimensions of the case Height:- 12cm Width:- 59cm Depth:- 45cm
