Vintage Kosta Boda Red Glass Votive Candle

Colonies of coral grow in rings around islands in the South Pacific, forming reefs and lagoons called atolls. These beautiful encircling structures and the vivid colors of ocean currents and living coral reefs inspired our Atoll collection – each piece is unique, with its own free-form pattern of hand-applied color. Atoll was one of Kosta Boda’s most popular series and as a gift it never fails. Designed by Anna Ehrner.

The bowl-shaped candle holders are from the “Atoll” series and are made of clear glass with dark ruby red glass swirling inside. The holder/bowl still retains the original Kosta Boda packaging. The candle holder stands 2-1/2 inches tall and measures 4-1/2 inches in diameter at the widest point at the top. The opening in the center measures 2-1/4 inches. The holder/bowl is in excellent condition and are free of any chips, cracks, or repairs. Each is a beautiful and colorful little piece of art glass that will be a wonderful addition to your home or table scape.
